Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 July 2026
Runglob ("we", "the app") turns your runs into a virtual journey between real cities. This policy explains what data we handle and why. The short version: we store the minimum needed to run the game, we never sell your data, and you can delete everything at any time.
Data we collect
- Account: your email address, used only to sign you in (magic link) and to contact you about your account.
- Journeys and progress: the journeys you create (start and destination cities), your cumulative distance, cities reached, missions and badges.
- Device: a basic device identifier per signed-in session, used for session management. We do not collect advertising identifiers and we use no third-party analytics or ad trackers.
Strava data
If you connect Strava, we receive the activities you allow via Strava's API (activity type, distance, duration, date). We use them solely to advance your journey. We do not receive your Strava password. You can disconnect Strava at any time in the app or at strava.com/settings/apps, which stops all future syncing. Our use of Strava data follows the Strava API Agreement.
Where data lives
Data is stored with Supabase (our hosting provider) and processed only to provide the service. Map tiles are loaded from CARTO / OpenStreetMap and route geometry from OpenRouteService; those requests carry your IP address, as any web request does, but no account information.
Deleting your data
Email me@cendekiapp.com from your account address and we will delete your account and all associated data within 30 days. In-app account deletion is coming with the public release.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will note it here with a new "last updated" date. Questions: me@cendekiapp.com.
